The Franklin Country Club is on the southwest side of West Frankfort off I-57.

The layout is a classic parkland design over gently rolling terrain with a couple of ponds in play, less than 25 sand bunkers, and moderate sized greens. There's five sets of tees from 4,915 yards to 6,600 yards at the tips, the middle tees play to 6,005 yards, 69.1/128, course/slope ratings, designed by Ted Locke.
