Frederick Peak Golf Course is a 10-hole(cause there was room for one more) municipal layout located on the northeast side of Valentine.

The golf course ambles over rolling topography along ridges through fairways bordered by trees leading to greensites set in small canyons. It's a scenic layout through the Sandhills with Frederick Peak, a 200 foot rise over the bed of the Minnechaduza Creek, in view throughout the round. There's four sets of tees from 2,443 yards to 3,561 yards off the back tees, designed by Tom Lehman and Chris Brands.
