Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club is a 9 hole golf course located on the southwest side of La Grange 35 miles from the Brenham/Bastrop area. Frisch Auf! translated is "Freshen Up," and the flag is a replica of the Kreische Brewery flag where residents of La Grange would ferry across the Colorado for their supply of beer.

The course is tucked into a bend in Buckners Creek where it empties into the Colorado River. It flows over level fairways dotted with live oaks with ponds in play on five holes including an island green.
