Gaylord Springs is located at the Gaylord Springs Resort near Opryland on the east side of Nashville just off the Briley Parkway on the Cumberland River.

The golf course is a links-style layout cruising over a scenic setting along the River bottom land, and is generally fair and open off the tee with multiple risk/reward paths to the greens. There's ponds and lakes in play on over half the holes as well as an abundance of shapes and sizes of sand traps along the fairways and defending the greens. The course was designed by Larry Nelson in 1990 and from the tips is 6,842 yards, 73.8/136, course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes.
