Gogebic Country Club is just east of Ironwood on US 2, carved through UP forest land.

The layout is a parkland design lumbering along tree-lined fairways with several water hazards in play, sand bunkers mostly greenside, and small to mid-sized greens level with the fairways. It's a classic from the early 1920s and plays to 6,030 yards from the tips with a par of 71, 67.0/113, course/slope ratings, and one shorter tee.
