Golden Eagle Golf Club is off I-40 at the US 70 exit on the north side of Cookeville.

The course journeys over relatively level land along broad, tree lined fairways with streams or ponds in play on eight holes and sand bunkers primarily around the small, oval greens. There's four sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,600 yards, 71.2/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Hooper Eblen in 1947.
