The Golf Club of Indiana is located in southern Boone County near Zionsville off I-65 at exit 130 to the west about 30 minutes from the Indianapolis airport.

The layout provides a blend of broad and narrow, tree-lined fairways over generally level terrain. Water hazards are in play on 15 holes, and 72 bunkers litter the landing areas and secure the greens. It measures 7,151 yards from the back tees, 74.3/135 course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, and was designed by Mickey Powell and Charles Maddox.
