Grand National is affiliated with the Grand Casino in Hinckley about 90 miles north of the Twin Cities just off I-35 to the east.

The golf course is an interesting and entertaining layout over a roomy tract of rolling terrain with stands trees at the fairways margins. There's 12 ponds/wetlands and several streams in play with sand traps scattered about the landing zones and defending the generous greens. The layout plays to 6,843 yards from the black tees, 73.0/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees, a Joel Goldstrand design.
