Grapevine is a municipal golf course just north of DFW on the east shore of Grapevine Lake with 27 holes.

The layouts march over a large, natural tract of land with each hole well isolated and unique. The golf course is a parkland design winding through tree-lined, rolling fairways along numerous waterways and ponds with a liberal use of sand bunkers, frequent blinds shots, and large multi-level greens. The various rotations/yardages/slope/course ratings: Bluebonnet-Mockingbird, 6,901 yards, 73.9/132, course/slope ratings; Pecan-Mockingbird, 6,983 yards, 74.2/132; Pecan-Bluebonnet, 7,060 yards, 74.5/136, all from the tips with three shorter tee boxes, originally designed by Byron Nelson and Joe Finger with redesign work by D.A. Weibring
