Green River is about an hour northwest of Moab in Green River, just off I-70.

The golf course is a 9-hole layout and part of Green River State Park, with a few holes along the River. It's in a scenic setting with the Book Cliffs in the distance, and the fairways are lined by cottonwoods along several ponds and a minimum of sand traps. It's 6,270 yards from the blue tees for 18 holes, with a 69.6/116 course and slope ratings, designed by Andy Johnson.
