Greene Hills Club is located 30 minutes southwest of Culpepper on the north side of Stanardsville in a natural setting in the shadow of the Shenandoahs.

The layout is parkland style on a large tract of land along broad, tree lined fairways over slightly rolling hills with several water features and sand bunkers both along the landing zones and guarding the greens. The golf course was designed by Ray Loving playing to 6,400 yards from the back tees, 70.8/124, course/slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes.
