Greenhills CC is on the east side of Ravenswood 2 miles east of exit 146 off I-77 30 minutes south of Parkersburg and 45 minutes north of Charleston.
The layout is parkland style flowing through a valley on the front nine then climbing up into the foothills of the Appalachians on the backside with Shady Creek cutting through the middle of the golf course. The routing is mostly straightforward with only a few doglegs, but with water hazards in play on half the holes and sand bunkers generally greenside. The course was designed by Paul Lemon in the late 1950s and is rather short at just 6,056 yards from the tips, 68.6/119, course/slope ratings.
