The Greenwood CC is on the northwest side of Greenwood about 30 miles southwest of Laurens.

It is tucked into a small residential community with homes bordering a few of the fairways over generally level terrain. Cedar Lake and several small ponds provide water hazards on multiple holes and with around 40 sand traps, the layout requires strategic play along it's pine and oak tree lined fairways. From the tips it's 6,800 yards, 73.2/132, course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes, designed by George Cobb.
