Grey Hawk is located in the far southwest suburbs of Cleveland, west of Brunswick/Strongsville, within a residential development.

The course features several holes that run through heavily wooded areas, while the balance are open, links-style, along mounded fairways and 80+ sand bunkers, including a green surrounded by sand. Additionally, the golf course is littered with ponds and small lakes, including an island green. It was designed by von Hagge in 2004 and is 7,079 yards, 74.3/137, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.
