Grey Rock is on the southwest side of Austin about 15 minutes from downtown south on Mopac to Highway 45 to Kendrick Boulevard.

The course is a parkland style design along oak and cedar lined fairways with numerous doglegs especially on the backside. It's over a large, natural tract of land along unique and isolated fairways with a variety of sand bunkers along the landing zones, numerous water hazards, and large, undulating greens protected by mounding and sand traps. The course was designed by Jay Morrish and Roy Bechtol and plays to 6,909 yards, 74.6/141, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes.
