The Griffin Bell Golf Links at Southwestern State University adjoins the University to the south in Americus.

The golf course is a classic layout from the 1940s that meanders along narrow and rolling, tree lined fairways with an equal share of straightforward and dogleg holes. There's several ponds and a stream in play and smallish greens, half of which are protected by sand bunkers. It's a shot maker's layout at 6,096 yards from the tips, 68.9/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
