The Griffin Bell Golf Links at Southwestern State University adjoins the University to the south in Americus.

The golf course is a classic layout from the 1940s that meanders along narrow and rolling, tree-lined fairways with an equal share of straightforward and dogleg holes. There are several ponds and a stream in play and smallish greens, half of which are protected by sand bunkers.
