The Hamilton Golf Club is in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana, which is an hour's drive south of Missoula.

The layout marches through a scenic setting, providing views of the Bitterroot and Sapphire mountain ranges. It's challenging as it moves along tree-lined fairways with Gird Creek, streams, and ponds in play on numerous holes and well-kept, small to mid-sized greens. The course plays to 6,847 yards from the back tees, 72.3/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees. The golf course is a classic with the original nine holes from the 1920s, while the back nine was built in the 1970s, but updated over the years by Gary Jacobson.
