The Hamilton Golf Club is in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana an hour due south of Missoula.

The layout marches through a scenic setting providing views of the Bitterroot and Sapphire mountain ranges. It's challenging as it moves along tree lined fairways with Gird Creek, streams, and ponds in play on numerous holes and well bunkered, small to mid-sized greens. From the back tees the course plays to 6,847 yards, 72.3/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees. The golf course is a classic with the original nine holes from the 1920s while the back nine was built in the 1970s, but updated over the years by Gary Jacobson.
