Harborside is a 36 hole golf complex and one of the closest golf courses to The Loop located off I-94 at Stony Island 20-30 minutes south depending on traffic.

The two courses, the Port and the Starboard, were built on industrial landfill and inorganic sludge near Lake Calumet on Chicago's South Side. The layouts for the entire course were reclaimed and capped with clay, topsoil, and sand providing the hard and fast conditions similar to classic links courses with both nearly identical in terms of the design features. One interesting historical note, President Bill Clinton made his first and only hole-in-one on the par 3 sixth hole at the Port Course.

The Starboard course is 7,186 yards from the tips, 74.7/135, course/slope ratings, the Port course is 7,164 yards, 74.8/136, course/slope ratings from the back tees, both with three shorter tees, designed by Dick Nugent.
