Harborside is a 36-hole golf complex and one of the closest golf courses to The Loop. It is located off I-94 at Stony Island, 20-30 minutes south of the Loop, depending on traffic.

The Port and Starboard courses were built on an industrial landfill and inorganic sludge near Lake Calumet on Chicago's South Side. The layouts for the entire course were reclaimed and capped with clay, topsoil, and sand, providing hard and fast conditions similar to classic links courses. Both courses are nearly identical in terms of design features. One interesting historical note: President Bill Clinton made his first and only hole-in-one on the par-3 sixth hole at the Port Course.

The Starboard course is 7,186 yards from the tips, 74.7/135, course/slope ratings, the Port course is 7,164 yards, 74.8/136, course/slope ratings from the back tees, both with three shorter tees, designed by Dick Nugent.
