The Hat Creek Golf Course is 30 miles south of Lynchburg off US 501 to the east at Brookneal.
The family owned golf course is a 9 hole layout in a parkland setting in the Roanoke River Valley of Central Virginia. The golf course is over rolling hills and along tree lined fairways with a couple of doglegs and water hazards along with a variety of sand bunkers guarding the greens. The golf course was designed by Bill Singleton in the mid-1970s and from the tips plays to 3,131 yards, 35.2/122, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
