Haystack Golf Course is 6 miles south of Mount Snow on the north side of Wilmington.

It's a mountain style layout over rolling topography carved through the deep woods within a small residential community. The broad fairways are bordered by mature hardwoods with a couple of ponds in play and a gaggle of fingered bunkers defending the landing zones and swift greens. There's five sets of tees with the middle, white tees at 6,164 yards, 69.3/125, course/slope ratings, designed by Desmond Muirhead in 1972.
