The Hettinger Country Club is a 9-hole golf course located a few miles south of Hettinger, a small farming community surrounded by farmland.

The golf course is a straightforward parkland layout built on a rectangular tract of land, with all but one hole running north to south in a parallel fashion. There are several slight doglegs and wetlands to cross; otherwise, the small greens are the course's defense to par. It can play to 3,051 yards, 33.8/111 course/slope ratings off the back tees.
