The Hiawatha Sportsman's Club is an hour west of the Mackinac Bridge, south of Millecoquins Lake off US 2 just north of Naubinway.

The golf course is a nine-hole parkland layout carved through the woods over rolling contours. One pond is in play, sand bunkers are generally greenside, and the greens are small to mid-sized. There are three sets of tees, and the tips play to 2,937 yards.
