Highland Meadows is part of a real estate development just east of I-25 between exits 259 and 262 southeast of Ft. Collins.

The course is a links-style layout and mostly devoid of trees as it traverses broad, mounded, and undulating fairways and greens dotted with sand bunkers, ponds and wetlands. From the back tees it plays to 7,041 yards, 72.4/133, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Art Schaupeter.
