Highland Oaks is part of the RTJ Trail and located on the west side of Dothan with three 9 hole championship courses and a par 3 layout.

The Highlands course is the more open of the three nines with water in play on four holes and an island, par 3 green. The Magnolia nine is parkland style routed over hilly land along tree lined fairways and narrow driving corridors. The Marshwood is parkland style as well with one of the longest par 5s in the state at 700 yards from the back tees. The Short Course is a challenging par 3 layout at 1,809 yards with a variety of long and short holes with a range of tight pin placements.
