The Houlton Community Golf Course, or Lakeside, is southwest of Houlton off Bangor Street on the north side of Nickerson Lake.

The golf course is a traditional, 9 hole layout from the 1920s over slightly rolling terrain. The course is in a scenic and quiet setting wandering along generally broad, tree lined fairways leading to small, well protected, elevated greens.
