Huron Shores Golf Club is north of Port Sanilac on Lakeshore Road carved into a clearing of dense, hardwood forest.

The golf course is a parkland design touring over slightly rolling terrain on the west shore of Lake Huron. It's a target layout with water hazards including Miller Creek in play on half the holes as it moves along narrow, tree lined fairways with sand traps mostly greenside. The initial nine holes originated in 1925 with a second nine and a redesign by Jeff Gorney in the late 1990s. It's a short, par 70 layout of 5,428 yards, 67.0/121, course/slope ratings from the tips.
