Indian Lake is north of Manistique on the east side of Indian Lake.

The layout is a blend of narrow, fairway corridors carved through the forest along with those which are more open and forgiving off the tee. It's generally straightforward with a few slight doglegs, numerous water hazards, and an ample amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens. There's three sets of tees, the tips play to 6,538 yards, 71.3/133, course/slope ratings, with design work by John Barr and Mike Husby.
