Indian Lake is north of Manistique on the east side of Indian Lake.

The layout is a blend of narrow fairway corridors carved through the forest and those that are more open and forgiving off the tee. It's generally straightforward, with a few slight doglegs, numerous water hazards, and an ample amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens. There are three sets of tees, and the tips play to 6,538 yards, 71.3/133, course/slope ratings, with design work by John Barr and Mike Husby.
