The Inn of the Mountain Gods Golf Course is part of a resort and casino of the Mescalero Apache Tribe located just outside Ruidoso in the mountains of Mescalero.

The golf course clambers over hilly terrain on the west side of Mescalero Lake and through the Cienegita Canyon providing impressive elevation changes throughout. It traverses ponderosa pines, blue spruce, douglas fur, and gable oak tree lined fairways along numerous doglegs and over several forced carries with sand bunkers bordering the landing zones and defending the generous greens. Several of the par 3s are the stars, the 8th plays from an elevated tee box at 227 yards down to a well bunkered green, and the 12th is 212 yards with a full carry across Lake Mescalero. The golf course was designed by Ted Robinson in 1976 and plays to 7,212 yards, 72.6/132, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
