Inshalla is in the Northwoods area north of Tomahawk, on the east side of Halfmoon and Clear Lakes, which are carved through the forest.

It's a parkland layout with water in play on half the holes along narrow and sloping, tree-lined fairways with sand bunkers at the landing zones and guarding the greens tucked into coves. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 5,915 yards, 68.8/125, course/slope ratings and a par of 70, designed by John Hein.
