The Jamestown Country Club is southeast of town off I-94 at the Jamestown exit, then south on US 281.

The golf course is a parkland layout with a mix of narrow and broad fairways and several holes along and over the James River in a scenic setting without homes or development. The fairways are defined by trees, with sand bunkers at the landing zones guarding the sides of the mid-sized greens. It can play as long as 6,578 yards from the tips, with 71.9/124 course/slope ratings and two shorter tees.
