Jawbone Creek is midway between White Sulphur Springs and Roundup on the north side of Harlowton.

The layout is wide open to the elements over a rolling and virtually treeless landscape with the creek impacting play on several holes and several sand traps featuring log-faced bunkers. The golf course surrounds a fenced in cemetery in a scenic setting with the Judith Gap Wind Farm and the surrounding Crazy Mountain Range in view throughout. It can play to 3,390 yards from the tips, 35.0/108, course/slope ratings with one shorter tee box, designed by Frank Hummel.
