Jefferson Hills is about 20 minutes north of Idaho Falls in Rigby off the Yellowstone Highway south of the Snake River.

The golf course journeys over a scenic setting over level terrain without homes or development along the holes. It's a parkland style design along tree lined fairways with minimal sand bunkering, but with three streams cutting through the lower, middle, and upper reaches of the layout affecting play on over half the holes. It's a short course at only 6,256 yards from the tips for a par of 71, 68.2/112, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
