Karsten Creek Golf Club is located 6 miles west on Highway 51 just outside of Stillwater 40 minutes from Oklahoma City. It's the home course of the Oklahoma State University Men's and Women's golf teams and is generally rated as the top college course in the country.
The golf course strolls over rolling terrain through thick forests of mature Black Jack oaks with the back nine meandering along Lake Louise providing a bracing finishing stretch of holes. The course was named after the late Karsten Solheim, founder of Karsten Manufacturing (PING), and Lake Louise honors his wife since they were benefactors of the university. The course was designed by Tom Fazio with a later redesign by Andrew Green featuring four sets of tees and measures 7,449 yards from the tournament tees, 77.2/152, course/slope ratings, the Fazio tees are at 6,039 yards, 71.1/134.
