Kendrick is a municipal golf course in every respect except for the views of the expansive lands out to the Big Horn Mountains. The golf course roams over a large, natural tract of land on the west side of Sheridan off I-90 at exit 23.

The layout is mostly open and straightforward with a scattering of trees along the fairways and several water hazards, but no sand bunkers. The course can play to 6,677 yards from the tips, par 72, 70.7/114,course/slope ratings with the front nine designed by Carl Theussen in the 1980s, and Frank Hummel designing the back nine.
