Koasati Pines is part of the Coushatta Casino in southwest Louisiana an hour from Lake Charles off I-10 at exit 44 then north.

The golf course traipses through wetlands and along pine tree lined fairways over mostly level land. There's water in play on all but two holes with the fairways and greens guarded by an assortment of conventional and pot bunkers. It can play as long as 7,617 from the back tees, 76.7/137, course/slope ratings with five shorter sets of tees, designed by Kevin Tucker in 2002.
