The Lake Maloney Golf Course is on the west shore of Lake Maloney, 15 minutes south of North Platte and the I-80 exit on US 83.

The golf course is in a scenic setting along wide open fairways slightly above the Lake with scattered trees at the borders. The fairways are isolated and separate and generally straightforward, save for a couple of doglegs and a moderate amount of sand bunkers. Overall, there are five sets of tees, with the middle White tees playing to 5,981 yards, 69.8/118, course/slope ratings, designed by Bill Burns.
