The Lake Maloney Golf Course is 15 minutes south of North Platte and the I-80 exit on US 83 on the west shore of Lake Maloney.

The golf course is in a scenic setting along wide open fairways slightly above the Lake with scattered trees at the borders. The fairways are isolated and separate and generally straightforward save for a couple of doglegs and a moderate amount of sand bunkers. There's five sets of tees overall with the middle, White tees playing to 5,981 yards, 69.8/118, course/slope ratings, designed by Bill Burns.
