The Lake Shastina Golf Club is 1 1/2 hours north of Redding off the I-5 at Weed on the east side of Lake Shastina with 27 holes.

The Championship layout is a parkland layout ambling through a residential community along unique and isolated, fairways with Mount Shasta as a background. The routing is along pine tree-lined corridors with several water hazards and features sand bunkers with crushed, red volcanic rock. There are four sets of tees, the white tees are 6,291 yards, 69.4/127 course and slope ratings, a Robert Trent Jones Sr design. The Scottish Links course is a wide open layout with broad fairways bordered by natural areas and plays to 3,009 yards from the tips, 35.4/117, course/slope ratings, a Jones design as well.
