Lakeridge is south of Reno, just west of the Reno Airport off I-580 on McCarran Blvd.

The golf course borders a residential development in an otherwise scenic setting with views of Reno and the surrounding Sierras. The design features tree-lined, rolling fairways, sculptured sand bunkers, numerous water features, and modest, contoured greens. The signature hole is an island green par 3, #15, with a 140-foot elevation change from tee to the green surrounded by Lake Stanley. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr in 1969 and plays to 6,715 yards, 71.6/134, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees
