Lakewoods is a four season resort north of Hayward and 8 miles east of Cable.

The resort is on Lake Namakagon in the Chequamegon National Forest and typical of the northwoods layout with narrow, tree lined and hilly fairways along unique corridors. There's numerous slight doglegs, several water hazards, and sand traps defending many of the greens. There's three sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,066 yards, 70.9/137, course/slope ratings, designed by Joel Goldstrand in the mid 1990s.
