Lander Golf and Country Club is on the southeast side of Lander on Main Street near the airport about 2 1/2 hours due west of Casper at 5,000 above sea level.

The original front 9 is a parkland style, target layout where course management along with a solid short game is necessary to manage the narrow landing zones and modest, quick greens. The newer back nine is more links style along a treeless landscape with high natural grass areas bordering the fairways and numerous water hazards in play. It plays to 6,574 yards, par 71, 70.3/123, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
