Laurel Oaks is on the south side of Maysville, midway between Cincinnati and Huntington.

The layout wanders along tree-lined fairways over rolling hills with multiple ponds but a minimum of sand traps defending the small to mid-sized greens. The course can play to 6,512 yards from the tips, 70.6/126, course/slope ratings, and the white tees play to 6,074 yards, 68.5/122, with two shorter tees.
