The Lincoln Homestead Golf Course is in the State Park on the north side of Springfield 30 minutes east of Bardstown.

The golf course is a parkland design over rolling terrain with old growth, hardwood trees defining the fairways leading to small, oval greens. It's generally a straightforward layout with several ponds in play and sand traps guarding the sides of the greens. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,550 yards, 70.7/119, course/slope ratings, designed by J. Press Maxwell and Perry Maxwell.
