Lincoln Valley Golf Course is 30 minutes east of Ames in State Center.

The course journeys over relatively flat Iowa farmland along broad tree lined fairways with a stream, several ponds and a modest amount of sand traps in play. It was designed by Gordy Cunningham in the 1970s and from the tips plays to 6,432 yards, 70.7/123, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
