The Links at Cobble Creek is located in Montrose midway between Grand Junction and Durango within a residential development on the southwest side of town.

The golf course is a forgiving layout off the tee with roomy landing areas in a setting providing views of the Grand Mesa and the San Juan Mountains. There's a series of lakes and ponds on a majority of the holes with pot and conventional sand bunkers scattered about the fairways and greens. It was designed by Craig Cherry and from the back tees it's 6,970 yards, 71.8/125, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees.
