Lochmere is on the west side of Silver Lake exit off I-93 at Route 3, about 10 minutes south of Laconia and 25 minutes north of Concord.

The golf course is an entertaining parkland design with a variety of long and short holes featuring water hazards, sand traps, and doglegs along tree-lined fairways in a very scenic setting. It was designed by Philip Wogan. The tees range from 5,242 yards to 6,711 yards, and the white tees are at 6,207 yards, and the course/slope ratings are 69.7/123.
