Luck is a municipal golf course owned by the town of Luck and located about 30 minutes north of St. Croix Falls and 1 1/2 hours from Minneapolis on the south side of Big Butternut Lake in this small, summer lake community.

The layout is challenging with a moderate change in elevation as it weaves through mature oak and maple, tree lined fairways. There's views of the Lake from several holes, a little sand and water in play, but mostly it's the narrow fairways which will test your course management skills. It's not all that long and makes for a relatively quick round at 6,093 yards from the Blue tees, 70.9/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by George Emerson.
