Luna Vista is an upscale, municipal golf course located northwest of downtown Dallas off I-35 at Royal Lane to the west.

The layout is carved through the woods over level topography on the east side of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. The broad fairways are dotted with lakes and ponds with 20+ sand bunkers defending the green complexes and the occasional fairway landing zone. It can play to 6,847 yards, off the back tees, 70.8/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, a Leon Howard design redesigned by John Colligan.
