The Lykens Valley Golf Resort is 30 miles north of Harrisburg and 3 miles northeast of Millersburg in a valley setting surrounded by farmland and forests with the Berry and Mahantongo Mountains as a backdrop.

The course was laid into a 170 acre tract of rolling topography providing ample separation between the holes. It's generally straightforward, save for several gentle and dramatic doglegs, with broad and narrow, fairways defined by stands of trees and Little Wiconicso cutting through the southern 1/4 of the course and crossing holes 13-16. It can play to 6,341 yards, 70.0/116, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Harlan Willis.
