MakaniCC is an affordable "locals" gem located up HI 190 15 minutes from the coast on the Mamalahoa Highway in Kailua Kona at a higher and cooler altitude on the lower slopes of Mauna Kea mountain.

The routing is parkland style along isolated, tree-lined fairways, with water in play on half the holes and well-bunked fairways and greens in a totally natural setting. The course was designed by Perry Dye and can play to 7,054 yards from the tips, with 73.9/136 course/slope ratings and four shorter tees.
