Maple River is in Mapleton just off I-94 at exit 338 right along the Interstate about 20 minutes west of Fargo.

The layout is within a residential community on the south side of the Maple River with a combination of links and parkland design elements moving over level land with water hazards or wetlands in play on all but a couple of holes. It can play to 6,857 yards from the tips, 73.0/124, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Mike Pulczinski and Larry Waasdorp.
